Terms of Service

MyCollection is a specialist social marketplace for collectors. Members can display their collections, discover other collectors, follow collections they enjoy, wishlist items and buy and sell genuine collectibles within a single community.

These Terms of Service govern your use of MyCollection. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms.

MyCollection provides the marketplace venue. Unless expressly stated, MyCollection is not the seller of items listed by members and is not a party to the contract formed between buyer and seller.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use MyCollection.

You must provide accurate information when registering, keep your account details up to date and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that takes place through your account.

One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade restrictions, feedback or enforcement action.

You retain ownership of the photographs, descriptions and other content you upload to MyCollection. By uploading content you grant MyCollection a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and reproduce that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform.

You must only upload content that you own or have the right to use. Content that infringes another person's intellectual property, is unlawful or is deliberately misleading may be removed.

Members are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and collection descriptions. MyCollection does not verify every item and does not guarantee the accuracy of member content.

When a buyer completes a purchase, or a seller accepts an offer, a binding contract is formed directly between that buyer and that seller.

Sellers are responsible for describing items accurately and delivering what was promised. Buyers are responsible for paying for items they commit to purchase.

The standards that apply to listings, sales and member conduct are set out in the Marketplace Rules and the Seller Rules, which form part of these terms.

MyCollection charges sellers a commission of 6% on completed sales, calculated on the item price. Shipping charges paid by the buyer are passed to the seller in full and no commission is taken on them.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By selling through MyCollection you agree to Stripe's terms and to completing any identity verification Stripe requires. MyCollection does not store your full card or bank details.

Sellers receive the sale proceeds less the 6% commission. Payout timing can depend on payment processor requirements and order status.

You must not use MyCollection to:

• ·Sell items prohibited by our Prohibited & Restricted Items policy
• ·List counterfeit, stolen or unlawfully obtained items
• ·Misrepresent an item's condition, authenticity or provenance
• ·Take transactions off the platform to avoid commission
• ·Harass, threaten or deceive other members
• ·Manipulate reviews, offers or platform systems
• ·Scrape, copy or interfere with the platform
• ·Break any applicable law

Returns and refunds are governed by the Returns & Refunds policy, and eligible purchases are supported by the Buyer Protection policy.

Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights that apply to a transaction.

MyCollection may suspend, restrict or terminate accounts that breach these terms, breach the Marketplace Rules or Seller Rules, create risk for other members or engage in fraud or abuse.

Where possible we will explain the reason for enforcement action, but we may act without notice where necessary to protect members or the platform.

You may close your account at any time. Obligations arising from completed or pending transactions survive account closure.

MyCollection provides the platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Items are listed by members, and MyCollection does not guarantee the authenticity, condition or legality of every item.

To the extent permitted by law, MyCollection is not liable for losses arising from transactions between members, member content or third party services such as payment processors and carriers.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over disputes relating to them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

MyCollection may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of MyCollection after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
