MyCollection acts as the data controller for the personal information processed through the platform. This policy applies to all members and visitors.

Payment information
Payments on MyCollection are processed by Stripe.
When you buy, your payment details are provided directly to Stripe. MyCollection does not see or store your full card number.
When you sell, Stripe may collect identity and bank account information from you to verify your account and pay out your proceeds. That information is handled by Stripe under its own privacy terms.
We receive from Stripe the information needed to record orders, commission and payout status.
How we use information

Public information
Some information on MyCollection is public by design. Your username, public profile, public collections and listed items can be viewed by anyone, including visitors who are not signed in.
You can control whether individual collections are public or private from your account. Private collections are not shown on your public profile.
Messages between members are private to the participants of the conversation.
Retention and deletion
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for legal, accounting or dispute purposes.
You can request deletion of your account and personal information. Some transaction records may need to be retained where the law requires it.
